4,000 year cycle in the North-Atlantic Ocean?

Is it possible that the North Atlantic current is slowing down or coming to a halt as a result of a 4,000 year cycle change? Sirpa Hakkinen, lead author and researcher at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center says the current has already weakened and, "If this trend continues, it could indicate reorganization of the ocean climate system, perhaps with changes in the whole climate system”.

A cataclysmic event that occurred around 2,200BC caused immense droughts throughout much of Africa, and extending as far as Greece, Turkey, and Mesopotamia (modern day Iraq).

Research conducted by Dr. Fekri Assan has shown that the great ancient Egyptian Empire was all but wiped out by a massive climate change. In fact, a total of 6 great civilisations of that era were simultaneously reduced to dust due to a prolonged drought 4,000 years ago.
The birth of the Sahara desert turned a once green continent of Africa covered in forests and lakes, into one of the most uninhabitable places on the planet around what is estimated at being 8,000 years ago, as a result of changes in ocean currents.

Something also happened 12,000 years ago where the average temperature dropped by 7 degrees, wiping out the woolly mammoth and several species of mammals. Scientist are not exactly certain as to what might have caused this event, but do know that this change was sudden, and once again, the Atlantic current most likely played a role.

Is this 4,000 year pattern a coincidence? If not, we are due.

A team of researchers have recently discovered a new current called ‘North Icelandic Jet’ and believe it might play an important role in the great ocean conveyor belt, critical to controlling climate.

Could an increase in severe weather such as hurricanes, tornadoes and droughts be a precursor or warning of an imminent start of a mini ice age, an event called the ‘younger dryas cold period’?

The good news is that based on past events, a change in the current would not be as severe as how it was portrayed in the sci-fi movie called ‘The Day After Tomorrow’ and plunge humanity in an all-out full scale ice age, but its impact would still be immensely devastating.

The Dresden Codex

It is nothing short of astounding just how precise the Mayans had the ability to read the stars, all without the help of modern instruments such as telescopes. They kept a record of this knowledge on a primitive form of manuscript made of bark from local fig trees. The Dresden codex, as it is called today, is also referred to as an ancient Mayan book of astronomy, and most likely originated in Chichén Itzá in the Yucatán state of Mexico. Dating back to around 1,200 AD, makes it one of the oldest books from the Americas.

The Dresden codex was discovered in Austria (of all places) as an unfortunate result of Spanish conquistadores and colonial expansion and pilfering of Mayan treasures of Central and South Americas. It survived against all odds despite the Spanish missionaries’ destruction and burning of most books in an effort to wipe out what was left of the Mayan culture. Unfortunately, there are only 4 known surviving documents.

The codex has never been fully understood, though many have tried in the last 250 years or so. Much more is known today regarding Mayan mathematics. They had a very sophisticated and complex numbering system with a base of 20 that included planets from our solar system and beyond.

Today, this archaic diary has found its final resting place in the Royal Library of Dresden, Germany.

The Great CEO Disappearing Act

There has been some concern recently amongst some conspiracy theorists out there over the fact that there has been a huge surge in resignations from top CEOs in the past year.

Adding to those conspiracy concerns are the fact that US President Obama is heading to Denver Colorado on September 27th. (Supposed home of a large secret underground bunker under the Denver Airport.)

Here are a few examples of recent resignations:
  1. Gianfranco Lanci - Acer (March 31, 2011)
  2. Pal Engebretsen - Bergen Group ASA (June 1, 2011)
  3. Les Hinton - Dow Jones (June 10, 2011)
  4. Jan Keltjens - AngioDynamics (June 14, 2011)
  5. Tom Alexander - Everything Everywhere (July 18, 2011)
  6. Mark McLaughlin - Verisign’s (Aug 1, 2011)
  7. Wayne Kay - Response Biomedical (Aug 15, 2011)
  8. Steve Jobs - Apple (Aug 24, 2011)
  9. Allen Chan - Sino-Forest (Aug 28, 2011)
  10. David Campisi - Sports Authority (Aug 29, 2011)
  11. Deven Sharma - Standard & Poor’s (Aug 29, 2011)
  12. Steve Engle - Xoma Ltd (Aug 31, 2011)
  13. James Hyatt - Cosi (Aug 31, 2011)
  14. Bob Kelly - Bank of New York Mellon (Sep 1, 2011)
  15. Janet Torney - Qantas Super (Sep 1, 2011)
  16. Gu Jianxing - NewEgg China (Sep 2, 2011)
  17. Glenn Orsmond - 1Time (Sep 2, 2011)
  18. Felix See Chi-kwok - Tradelink Electronic Commerce Ltd (Sep 2, 2011)
  19. Klaus Nyborg - Pacific Basin Shipping Ltd. (Sep 5, 2011)
  20. Carol Bartz - Yahoo (Sep 6, 2011)
  21. Thomas L. Mitchell - Noble Corp (Sep 6, 2011)
  22. Andy Mooney - Disney consumer products (Sep 6, 2011)
And many more … Some did not state a reason for resignation.

There are two separate rumours on the possible cause of this mass resignation.

The first & more plausible one:
The economy is in shambles and claims of corruption are starting to rear its ugly head. Whether or not we are on the verge of economic collapse, many CEOs are concerned and therefore bailing before things get worse.

The second unlikely one:
The claim that these CEOs are part of an elite group of people aware of some secret impending disastrous event about to occur and are getting ready to burrow deep inside underground bunkers, possibly the result of a New World Order de-population program.

Or … it could all be sheer coincidence.

Elenin (a brief history)

Never in history has a comet gotten so much publicity, and for months I have been avoiding jumping on the ever-growing Elenin bandwagon. Guess I am giving in to temptation since it can be so entertaining.

Discovered by Leonid Elenin back in December 2010, it is estimated to fly by Earth at a distance of 67,000,000 kilometres (41,500,000 miles) sometime around October 16, 2011 as per NASA.

I am sure many people who might read this blog story are already familiar with much of this information (or disinformation whichever way you look at it).

Here are a few of the stories I have come across in the past 8 months. (I have included plenty of links.)

January 2011- Electric Solar System or plasma comet theory claiming Elenin is responsible for strange weather events on the Sun and Earth.

February 2011- Elenin is either a cover-up for (or is) a brown dwarf star heading our way by the name of Nibiru or Planet-X.

March 2011- Though this story came out in February, it was predicted that Elenin was going to cause a pole shift sometime around mid-March 2011. Claims that Leonid Elenin does not exist and that the name is a code word for E.L.E or ‘extinction-level event’.

April 2011- False claims about NASA popping up all over the net saying Elenin is in fact Nibiru, also other claims that Elenin is increasing in size.

May 2011- First claims of large UFO fleet behind Elenin’s tail. Some believe Elenin is connected to the May 21st rapture prophesised by Harold Camping.

June 2011- Many are blaming Elenin for all recent earthquakes due to its alignment with various planets and the sun.

July 2011- Elenin is reported to be a cluster comet. A YouTube video surfaces about leaked Google Earth information showing Elenin’s projected impact area in the Bering Sea. (YouTube video here)

August 2011- Claims of Elenin being a tetrahedral (3 sided pyramid) spaceship 300,000 miles across, or that it is giving off strange RF signals, or that it has disintegrated or broken apart possibly as a result from a strange blast from Jupiter. Evacuation of the International Space Station.  YouTube videos of Elenin appearing in the sky in New Zealand.

September 2011- Claims that an RF signal from Elenin recently picked up by a radio telescope in California has a creepy voice talking when sped up and listened backwards (YouTube video here).

Regardless of what you might think of all this information, one thing for sure is the fact that it will soon be in the history books as being the one space object with the most conspiracy attached to it. I personally believe those of us who celebrate Christmas will be around this coming December.

Derinkuyu Underground City

The mysterious Cappadocia Region of Turkey contains over one hundred subterranean man-made settlements. Somewhere in the midst of this region lies an enormous ancient underground city built around 8th century BC by the name of Derinkuyu. It was accidently discovered in the 1960s while a local man was renovating his house.

It could have potentially accommodated up to 50,000 people, not including livestock and food. Small rectangular 55 metre long ventilation shafts similar to ones from the Giza Pyramids were seemingly carved out of rock. Also included in this underground habitat were stables, a chapel, a school, dining rooms, a warehouse, wine and oil pressing rooms, a bar, and water wells from an underground river. They also had a security system in the form of large heavy circular stone doors capable of being closed from the inside only.
It is not quite understood how the ancient locals managed to construct such a massive eleven story excavation, something that would be quite difficult to build in modern day and age. The city is connected to similar underground settlements such as Kaymakli and Tatlarin via ten kilometre tunnels and labyrinths. It seems as if the entire population in the area could have gone underground.

The caves may have served as refuge from war or invasion or possibly severe weather. It would also appear that they might have been used to hide against the encroaching Roman army at a later date in time.

How strange it must have been to have had such a large quantity of people living so deep underground in total darkness, without the luxury of flicking a light switch or use of a running toilet, that concept being somewhat incomprehensible by today’s Western cultures standard of living.

Boycott Amazon Dams

Please sign a petition and help thousands of people from Australia, Canada, Mexico, the United States and many other countries protest the Belo Monte mega-dam project in the Amazon jungle. Work has already begun on the third largest dam in the world and is predicted to flood 400,000 hectares (nearly a million acres) of rainforest and displace over 40,000 natives, not to mention its impact on flora and fauna. Belo Monte's reservoirs will generate enormous quantities of methane, a greenhouse gas that is 25 times more potent than CO2.

Here is a great link to a site called Amazon Watch with plenty of information about this disaster in the making.

There are several available websites with petitions.

You can sign a petition here, or here.

Another effective form of protest is tourism. You can boycott the Brazilian Government by not travelling there.

Is the Axial Seamount caldera about to erupt?

Scientist have begun to monitor the Axial Seamount Volcano situated around 500 kilometres west of the coast of Oregon in the North Pacific Ocean with the help of a recently installed 900km (560 mile) fiber optic cable released on the sea floor to better help scientists understand the area. Axial is a rectangular shaped caldera roughly around 3km by 8km (or 2 X 5 miles in size). This is one of the most active volcanic areas in the Pacific Ocean.
402 microseismic events were reported in 1994 in a two month period and there has been evidence that the large caldera has been inflating since the small 1998 eruption. There was another predicted small eruption in April 2011.

Could there be a connection between undersea volcanic eruptions deep in the Pacific and recent reports of sulphur odours in the air from California all the way up to Vancouver Island?
Could we possibly be looking at a full scale eruption in the near future?

For the second day now, The ROPOS Dive Robot will be moving along the seafloor at nearly 2,000 metres (6,561 feet) deep and will be available as an online live feed here. (Weather permitting)

Morgellons Fibres & Chemtrails

(Not for the faint of heart.)

Morgellons is a real disease, barely a decade old, and seemingly right out of a science fiction horror movie. Very few people have even heard of it. Many experts deny the disease even exists. Legendary Canadian folk singer Joni Mitchell suffers from it.

A skin disease in which fibres of various colours form on or under the skin, not to mention many other very disturbing symptoms. Very little is known about this condition, and doctors seem unsure as to whether or not it is contagious (though it most likely is, as entire families have contracted it). It has been detected in over 15 countries, including every state in the US, with the worst affected areas being California, Texas and Florida. It might be on the verge of becoming a pandemic.

One patient described that she felt as if insects were crawling on her. The skin on her arms, legs and face erupted into lesions, harbouring what looked like small eggs and creatures with flagella; and stiff, white, cotton-like threads emerged from her thighs.

So why is the World Health Organisation not acknowledging this illness? And why is there no urgency in studying it?

There appears to be a possible connection between Morgellons and chemtrails. Chemtrails were first noticed around mid to late 90's and the first case of Morgellons surfaced around 2002. On many occasions, fibres falling from the sky below chemtrails were analyzed in labs and shown to be very similar to those appearing in lesions on the skin of a sufferer.

When I first heard of chemtrails, I thought it was a joke, better left to the extreme paranoid. After all, how could any government manage to keep this a secret for so many years? Someone would eventually come out and tell the truth, right? The question here is why would any Government want to harm its population? That would make our leaders very sick and morbid individuals.

One website reported:

"Investigative reporter Will Thomas has reported findings of over 300 types of virally mutated fungi in a chemtrail fall out. The Idaho Observer has reported findings of 26 metals including barium, aluminum and uranium, a variety of infectious pathogens and chemicals and drugs including sedatives. Dr. R. Michael Castle reports the finding of cationic polymer fibres. Dr Hildegarde Staninger and Dr. Rahim Karjoom have reported findings of tiny parasitic nematode eggs of some type encased in the fibers. Additionally Drs. Staninger and Karjoom and researcher Jan Smith have reported findings of self-replicating nano-machines and rivers of silicon running wild through the bodies of the Morgellons infected. Researcher Clifford Carnicom has reported finding chemtrails fibers & abnormal blood cells that are an exact match with the bizarre fibers & blood cells found in those suffering from Morgellons Disease."
Nano-fiber chemtrail infection as some people call it, could be coming to a neighbourhood near you.

If you wish to donate to fund research for a cure, you can do so at The Carnicom Institute.

Windsor, Ontario rumblings

Mysterious earth rumblings have been on the increase as of late. This one specific story comes from my own province here in Canada and was recently reported in many newspapers across the Country.

Dalson Chen, Postmedia News.

For months, residents of south and west Windsor have been wondering and worrying about vibrations of unknown origin. And now, those mysterious rumblings under the city have found a new believer — the city's Ward 10 Coun. Al Maghnieh, who says it's time to start taking the phenomenon seriously.

"It's very present and real," he said. Maghnieh added that those who think the phenomenon is a joke or that its proponents are "crazy" need to grasp the implications in terms of health and the environment.

"I mean, it's actually scary to think that this is going on and we still can't pinpoint what it is," he said. "This is potentially very dangerous."

Maghnieh said he first started receiving calls from concerned citizens back in March. But it wasn't until the early hours of Friday morning — when he'd arranged to visit the homes of rumble witnesses — that he experienced the sensation himself.

"It's a very sharp, consistent rumble sound," Maghnieh said. "Sometimes it's like a hum." The city councillor said that at one point, he put a half-full water bottle on the ground and could see the vibrations causing ripples on the water's surface. At another point, he could hear the aluminum siding of a house rattle due to the vibrations.

"It was very obvious. It was very evident," Maghnieh said. "It sent shivers up my spine."

Maghnieh said he's so far received about two dozen calls and a half-dozen emails from different people in his ward with complaints about the rumble. When he followed up on some of the recent reports, two homeowners agreed to let him on their properties and investigate. The time period between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. was chosen because that's when the vibrations are reportedly the most distinct. "I don't know if it's stronger then or not. Maybe it's just because it's quieter outside," Maghnieh said.

Although the Ministry of the Environment has studied the matter and has ruled out industrial sources, Maghnieh said there needs to be further and fuller investigation. "You can't have hundreds of people just imagining these things," Maghnieh said. "We need resources. We need co-operation. We need somebody assigned to this."

Now Maghnieh is preparing a map of his ward to track the location of the rumblings, with radii indicating where the rumblings have been the strongest.

It might not be long until the issue hits Maghnieh even closer to home: He recently finalized purchase of a house on Everts Avenue, and some of the rumbling reports he's received are from fellow Everts Avenue residents. "On my own street," Maghnieh exclaimed. "On my new driveway, my first day arriving at my home — three different residents from three different homes came to welcome me to the neighbourhood, and the first thing they said was: 'There are rumblings here. It's bad.'"

Maghnieh said he doesn't regret buying the house. "In fact, now I'm even more motivated to get to the bottom of this."

Operation Facebook

To all Facebook addicts out there, you might want to consider weaning off your addiction since there is a chance it might be game over as of November 5th 2011 (a date that is synonymous with a bank holiday by the name Guy Fawkes in the UK). Anonymous' latest interest has become the popular social networking site. The famous hacktivist group have proven again and again that the best of firewalls is no match for their hacking prowess, or is it?

Some anonymous members spoke out against the proposed attack saying the hackers involved in the planned 'Operation Facebook' action aren't representative of the whole, but then again, it is more of an amorphous mass than an actual group. Facebook has not commented on the minacious threat as of yet, perhaps because of fear and not wanting to “kick the proverbial hornet’s nest”.

They claim the site has been selling personal data to various governments and that all information is retained, even after cancelling an account. (I personally know a woman whose face appeared on an ad for a dating site without her legal consent shortly after joining FB). There is no doubt that facebook has been criticized in the past over such issues. This threat does not appear to be targeted directly at members or stealing personal details.

Guy Fawkes is apparently in the process of creating a website called ‘Anon Plus Social Network’, an odd move since there is a fine line between hard to trace illegal online covert action and creating an all-out public website. One would think that this soon to be released site may not be so popular due to fear of people joining (Anon has been labelled a terrorist group).

Only time will tell!

Ecosia

The Amazon Rainforest is seven million square kilometers (1 billion acres) in size and consists of half of the world’s rainforest, giving it the title ‘lungs of the planet’. One in ten species on the planet call the Amazon home, including 2.5 million types of insects; over 40 thousand types of plants; countless species of fish, birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles; not to mention the countless more that have yet to be discovered.

Deforestation of the Amazon started in the early 1960s, and today the rainforest is vanishing at a rate of 1.5 acre every second, and at that rate, it could virtually disappear in the next 40 years. Over 140 species are going extinct every day, possibly eliminating plant genomes that could cure cancer or other diseases. One fifth of our freshwater and more than 20 percent of the oxygen on our planet is generated from the rainforest.

When rainforests are burned or cleared, large amounts of gases are released into the atmosphere such as carbon dioxide along with other greenhouse gases, and are altering the earth's radiative balance, resulting in an increase in severe climate change.

It is time for humanity to stop flirting with disaster. If you would like to contribute to saving the Amazon Rainforest, it can easily be done by switching whatever online search engine you might use on a regular basis (such as Google) with Ecosia.

Ecosia was first introduced in 2009 by Christian Kroll as a simple tool to help save the rainforest. As stated on their website: "... it lets an essential and routine task – searching the web – double as an ecological contribution: not only are Ecosia search emissions offset, but every click on a sponsored ad within Ecosia translates into either cents for the environment - or cents for generating more cents for the environment." Ecosia donates 80% of this income to support WWF's work in the Amazon, and have so far donated around $400,000 to the cause.

So something as simple as clicking on the links above or the one below can help save the Amazon and our planet.

Déjà Vu

I was just about to post a different story when I decided to grab a bite to eat, went to the kitchen and BANG! Had a flash of déjà vu, prompting me to change the subject of the day.

Ever have that uncanny feeling that you have lived a certain moment in time before? Or the feeling that you’ve been there, done that, in a dream perhaps? That sudden and fleeting ‘out of sync’ feeling can be so intense at times that it can send a chill down your spine. Some people can experience either fear or joy as a result.

Wikipedia describes it as the experience of feeling sure that one has already witnessed or experienced a current situation, even though the exact circumstances of the previous encounter are uncertain and were perhaps imagined and is usually accompanied by a compelling sense of familiarity. There are 3 different types: 1- Déjà vécu ('already experienced or lived through'); 2- Déjà senti ('already felt'); and 3- Déjà visité ('already visited'). Over two-thirds of adults report having had at least one déjà vu experience. People with vivid imaginations or those who travel frequently are more prone to them, oddly enough. It rarely ever lasts more than a few seconds.

Scientists and Psychiatrists have come up with numerous theories regarding the cause of déjà vu such as it being the result of a glitch in the brain, recognition memory, people's brains register impressions and images well before they are aware of what they have seen, or even a theory that the optical and neural paths from the two eyes may be slightly different, just to name a few. However it is impossible to prove any such theories any more, than let’s say life after death for example.

I, for one, would rather look at a less scientific side of this mysterious sense of familiarity as opposed to giving psychiatrists all the fun and glory of debunking it.

First of all, let’s look at an interesting fact: Can a blind person experience this unusual sensation? Apparently YES. University of Leeds researchers have reported the first case of a blind person experiencing déjà vu through smell, hearing and touch. Some people believe they are recollections from past lives. What about time shift theory? Or the theory that time is an illusion? Could we somehow jump a millisecond into the future? Is it our consciousness’ way to find and sync up with another reality for a very short period of time?

Interesting concepts to say the least.

It comes soon enough."

Spiral UFO Update

I came across the following stories recently that made me want to update a previous post I had made regarding the Norway Spiral UFO.

Story #1
(AFP) – June 4, 2010

SYDNEY — A bright spiralling light, believed by astronomers to be a rocket launched from Cape Canaveral, was spotted in skies across Australia's east coast just before dawn Saturday, sparking a UFO frenzy.

Described by some witnesses as a "lollipop-type swirl", the cloud of light was seen over country's three easternmost provinces -- New South Wales, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory -- shortly before sunrise.

"It had a distinct bright centre, much like a bright star ... (with) trails spiralling and fattening out from it," Canberra resident James Butcher told broadcaster ABC of the spectacle, which he said lasted two or three minutes.

Other witnesses likened the spectacular phenomenon, footage of which was quick to hit the Internet, to a "huge revolving moon" with a swirl in the middle, or an illuminated cloud moving high and fast above the horizon.

"It certainly had that lollipop-type swirl ... but it was travelling low and fairly fast, and as it went past me and I looked up, it looked like a row of lights, maybe four lights," one Brisbane resident said.

Story #2

An article written in ‘The handbook of unusual natural phenomena’ by William R Corliss in 1977 bears a striking resemblance to recent photos and videos that surfaced on the web about a strange looking vortex appearing over Norway.

The article states that "... ascending rockets punch detectable holes in the ionosphere and are sometimes heard hundreds of miles away. Rockets that release this much energy must also produce visible effects as the engines hot exhaust gases expand into the rarefied upper atmosphere and ionosphere. High-altitude winds blow the glowing exhaust plumes into fantastic shapes visible over great distances.

The NASA Centaur 2 launch on November 27th 1963 instigated several reports of strange luminous phenomena from ships far off the Florida coast. On the M.V. Wendover, bound from Dakar to Cape Town, the captain and many of the crew were treated to a spectacular show. “At first a small, white spherical cloud with a bright centre was seen bearing 230° at an altitude of 40°. It rapidly enlarged and assumed the form of perfectly defined concentric circles of light. The circles reached a maximum of 5° radius from altitude 40° to 50° and the greatest brightness was equal to that of a full moon. As the object passed across the sky, heading approximately 310° -130°, the concentric circles became elliptical with a ‘Catherine-wheel’ effect which gave the impression of anticlockwise rotation. When the body passed ahead of the vessel, the surrounding cloud of light dissolved and became the single bright white light usually associated with artificial satellites. (Marine Observer, 35: 20, 1965)

Sketches of the phenomena were submitted to the editor of the Marine Observer by the captains of the M.V Pennyworth and the M.V. Ripon, also in the North Atlantic well off Cape Canaveral."

Look familiar?

Bosnian pyramids

In 2005 a hill named Visočica, in Bosnia, caught the attention of the world due to its striking resemblance to pyramids of Central America (prior to excavation). Many in the scientific community were quick to scoff at this theory and claimed the so-called pyramid of the sun, as well as other similar formations nearby, as being natural and not man-made, while others marvelled at the site claiming that a structure underneath the soil might date back as much as 48,000 years (a fact that could change history as we know it).

Bosnian Author Semir Osmanagić, (a self-styled "Indiana Jones" of the Balkans) with the help of an international team of archaeologists claims to have found a paved path and a tunnel as well as numerous stone carved blocks. There is also talk about a strange ceramic statuettes found underneath the pyramids (though no online pictures could be found).
Recent findings from July 2011 show signs of some kind of peculiar tomb inside one of the tunnels while using a new and sophisticated kind of geo-radar. Google translation from the website called www.antikitera.net describes the site as: "The found structure could be a composed interment from two bodies located to different depths: first to 1.5 meters of depth and the second to 3 meters. Two overlapping rooms entirely in stone with a morphology similar to two rhombus, to their inside the tracing of the geo-radar show of the white areas correspondents to air. The presence of two remains suspended in the middle can be presumed. The dimensions of the interments turn out to be those canonical ones of 1 x 2 meters approximately. The depth of the entire complex arrives to approximately 4.3 meters. The diggings are begun 25th July and are still on course."

There isn't enough proof to actually make this site a valid archaeological find. Should this one day be proven otherwise, it would mean that the Bosnian pyramid of the sun would be one third bigger than the great pyramid of Giza, making it the biggest pyramid in the world as well as the oldest on the planet.

CARET- Fact or Fiction?

First off I would like to mention that there is a mind-boggling amount of websites and online information pertaining to CARET, and it would take a huge amount of time to retrieve all of it for this story, so I kept it simple.

An electrical engineer who prefers to remain anonymous came forward many years ago with elaborate details about a project by the name ‘
CARET’ which he was involved with in the 1980s. On this intelligent and much detailed website, this gentleman by the alias ‘Isaac’ goes on to mention facts about alien reverse engineering and being involved in building certain parts of a cloaked ship that would one day be used by the military (all the while saying he does not want to profit from it).

He goes on to include a tremendous amount of stolen scientific details about classified military information that somehow appears to make sense.

Here are some of his claims:

- CARET stood for “Commercial Applications Research for Extra-Terrestrial Technology”, but we often joked that it should have stood for “Civilians Are Rarely Ever Trusted.”

- We had everything we needed. State of the art hardware and a staff of over 200 computer scientists, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, physicists and mathematicians.

- What was especially amusing about the whole affair was the way that our military management almost tried to act as if the technology we were essentially reverse engineering wasn't extra-terrestrial at all.

- Their technology is different. It really did operate like the magical piece of paper sitting on a table, in a manner of speaking. They had something akin to a language that could quite literally execute itself at least in the presence of a very specific type of field.

These flying drones have allegedly been seen in various parts of the US after accidently being uncloaked.

One website’s attempt at debunking this information as a hoax goes on to mention:

“Looking at the so-called 'documentation' that goes with this stuff, the text-formatting is obviously done with relatively recent vintage page-layout software. You can tell by the perfect nature of the block justification.”

Other websites mention the disappearance of Isaac or that the CARET photos were fabricated by a Belgium hoaxer.

Whether or not Isaac was telling the truth is certainly up for debate. One thing I find odd is the fact that he goes to great lengths to hide his identity, yet divulges large amounts of information that would make him easily traceable by the government. Or that his website has never been shut down. One thing is for sure, many people have spent a lot of time and energy trying to prove or disprove CARET. Who is to say that some of the nay-saying websites out there such as
dronehoax.com are not NASA or US military based?

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, however, this makes for interesting reading either way …

National Geographic UFO

While watching a TV episode about Marco Polo on the UK National Geographic documentary show ‘Mystery Files’ recently, roughly 5 minutes into the show I noticed what appeared to be something entering the atmosphere in the distance. It was quite obvious and I was surprised that the producers never noticed it.

I am guessing that this UFO is most likely a meteor or space junk.

Keep an eye on the last few seconds of this video clip (you might want to enlarge it first since uploaded videos here seem to greatly depreciate in quality)

The future of water and food

There is an undeniable fact that severe weather is on the increase, which in turn is causing a problem of more flooding and droughts. Many parts of the planet considered to be fertile farming land is struggling to grow various types of food, and as a result, famine is on the increase in third world countries and prices are skyrocketing in the western world. Should severe weather get worse; we could possibly be looking at a major catastrophe in the very near future; 925 million people were hungry in 2010 and that statistic is on the increase.

Worldwide water shortage may happen sooner than anticipated. Based on various climate prediction centers, 2011 appears as though it will bring in severe droughts around the world and less water means less crops and therefore less food.

Africa is currently experiencing its worse drought in 60 years with more than 11 million people in need of assistance. This could not possibly be happening at a worse time since so many people and countries in the western world are struggling with their own finances and are unable to donate money.

Here are a few more examples:
  • China recently had to evacuate 500,000 people due to severe flooding while month long dry spells in central and eastern parts are resulting in severe droughts.
  • According to the Palmer Drought Index, severe to extreme drought affected about 25 percent of the United States as of the end of June 2011.
  • England and Wales had their driest March in more than 50 years.
  • Russia lost one third of its wheat crops in 2010 as a result of drought.

The Sheeple Quiz

The mainstream media, the government, and the educational system have become experts at manipulating people and it’s not that difficult to pull off. So much useless information being fed to people these days and let’s face it; people prefer to be part of a herd. You see proof of it on social networking sites, etc.

Part of the dumbing down scenario is the lack of intelligent programming on TV. People seem to care more about who will win a reality TV show and so on. Most have become unaware of the big picture or the real important issues going on in the world. The fact that so many media moulded zombies are seeing the world through rose-coloured glasses is somewhat frightening.

There are indeed similarities between the fall of the Roman Empire and events occurring today in Western culture.

I decided to create a Sheeple quiz of my own; though I borrowed a few obvious questions from other ones (most of them were too specific to a single agenda).
  1. Do you believe the government tells the truth? YES___ NO___
  2. Do you believe the media tells the truth? YES___ NO___
  3. Do you think the educational system is adequate? YES___ NO___
  4. Do you think people of authority are superior? YES___ NO___
  5. Do you easily agree with other people’s ideas? YES___NO___
  6. Do you tend to accept things the way they are? YES___NO___
  7. Have you ever attended an event solely to avoid exclusion? YES___NO___
  8. Do you think celebrities are better than you are? YES___NO___
  9. When shopping, would you prefer buying famous brand names? YES___ NO__
  10. Do you feel offended or threatened by this article? YES___NO___
RESULTS: You are 10% sheeple for every question answered with YES. So 5 yes = 50%, 10 yes = 100%, etc.

So what will it be? the red pill or the blue pill?

The mystery of crooked Aspen

Just outside the small village of Alticane, Saskatchewan in Western Canada lies an unusual botanical phenomena called ‘Crooked Aspen’. Every single tree on this strange patch of land has adopted a contorted corkscrew like shape, though aspens normally grow straight. The trees have been that way as far back to when they were first discovered in the 1940’s. Local folklore has theorised the cause of this anomaly to be everything from UFOs, ghosts, a lightning strike, or even a meteorite crash, though none have ever proved conclusive. Genetic mutation is a known factor and nobody seems to know why. All other trees outside of this approximate 3,000 square feet of forest appear to be growing normally.

There has been an unusually high occurrence of UFO sightings in the area over the years including a farmer claiming to have been woken up late one night by a bright object in the sky lighting up his bedroom. Another local farmer recalls going to the stand of trees as a child with his family and watching his grandmother pick flowers only to turn around and bring them back having a feeling she was doing something wrong, that she felt a strange presence near her.

Stories about animals and birds refusing to go near the trees or strange light and sounds coming from this area abound. People from all over the world have visited the site and some have even complained about a strange feeling or dizziness upon walking through.

Though I have never been to the site myself, it sounds like an interesting place to visit.

Anyone want to start a cult?*

(*The following article is not meant to be taken seriously, and is for entertainment purposes only.)

Ah, what better time to start a cult following than when fear-mongering is at an all-time high?

I mean Ron Hubbard did it over 60 years ago, all without the help of the internet.

It would appear that the internet has made that possibility an even easier task, all without having to leave the comfort of your home. Throw in some 2012 doom and gloom to scare people while looking for answers as the icing on the cake and you have the perfect recipe.

The number of stories on conspiracy webpages predicting a date in the near future where something big is going to happen has been growing exponentially lately.

The latest addition to this trend is a website by the name of
8-3-11 that claims that, yes you guessed it; something big is going to happen on August 3rd, 2011. They picked a good fear-mongering date since the US is in financial shambles and the debt deadline of August 2 is close at hand. They even went as far as to make a printable poster page so people can spread the word in whatever part of the world they live in. Need a question answered? Ask 175000 here.

The end is nigh you say?

- Harold Camping predicted the end of the world May 21st 2011 (Fail)
- The Church of the SubGenius: July 5, 2011, at precisely 7:00 AM. (Fail)
- Harold Camping taking another shot at it: October 21st 2011. (Soon to fail)
- Mayan prediction: December 24th 2011. (Soon to fail)

Here are five websites you should consult when doing homework in order to start your very own cult:

  1. God hates shrimp
  2. Church of the Subgenius
  3. Unarius
  4. Outer Dimensional Forces
  5. The Cosmic People of Light Powers

El Dorado (Lost City of Gold)

With the price of gold selling at a ridiculously all-time high of $1,585 per troy ounce, it seemed fitting to write an article about the precious metal.

There is a legend dating back to early 16th century about a lost South-American kingdom of gold by the name of El Dorado that has yet, to this day, been discovered. Early European travelers were told of a Muisca tribe near Lake Guatavita whose ruler would cover himself in gold dust before cleansing himself in the sacred lake to appease the gods.
The Spaniards drained the lake by 3 meters in 1545 using buckets and recovered a small amount of gold. A Bogota businessman cut a deep notch in 1580 and managed to drain the small lake nearly 20 metres at the expense of numerous labourers’ lives and found many pieces of gold jewellery. In 1801, a European explorer by the name of Alexander von Humboldt estimated that the lake could possibly yield as much as $300 million worth of gold.

Many expeditions looking for El Dorado came to grief while venturing into the jungle over the centuries trying to find the elusive gold treasure.
In 1969 two farm workers dug up a small model raft made of solid gold near the town of Bogota. The raft contained eight small rowing figures and a king. This newfound treasure quite possibly linked to the El Dorado legend itself.

Eldorado

Gaily bedight
A gallant knight,
In sunshine and in shadow,
Had journeyed long,
Singing a song,
In search of Eldorado.

But he grew old-
This knight so bold-
And o'er his heart a shadow
Fell as he found
No spot of ground
That looked like Eldorado.

And, as his strength
Failed him at length,
He met a pilgrim shadow-
"Shadow," said he,
"Where can it be-
This land of Eldorado?"

"Over the Mountains
Of the Moon,
Down the Valley of the Shadow,
Ride, boldly ride,"
The shade replied-
"If you seek for Eldorado!"

Economic collapse 2011

Analyst Dennis Slothower foresaw 2008 collapse; issues new warning.

 Get ready.
Financial capitals all around the world are awash with the worst kind of rumours. A second global financial crisis is just around the corner.

The rumours start with the possible exit of Italy’s Finance Minister Guilio Tremonti, whose head is expected to roll over the country’s mounting debt problems.
But that’s just the beginning of what is becoming a disturbing pattern of dominoes falling across the continent.

This time, the keyword is ‘contagion’, which literally means flu or a virus. In this case, it’s of an economic nature – and spreading fast.

For instance, the EU today conceded that Greece will default on its debt, leading many to wonder which one of the fragile European economies will be next.

That could be Portugal, Spain or Ireland. All three countries, to put it nicely, are up the proverbial creek without a paddle.
Earlier last week, that ‘paddle’ was the prospect of a bailout for Greece.

Now, with a dramatically worsening contagion spreading throughout the Eurozone, the focus is shifting on containing a new crisis.

Greece, as far as the bigwigs in Brussels are concerned, can wait. Italy is about to experience severe economic turbulence, and that has Europe worried.

After all, bailing out Greece is one thing. Bailing Italy out of its $1.8 trillion debt is outright unaffordable.

But wait, what about the US debt ceiling? The prospect of a deal to resolve the world’s largest economy’s debt crisis is equally dim.
To quote US President Barack Obama today, ”I don’t see a path to a deal if they [Republicans Party] don’t budge and compromise on ending loopholes, ending subsidies.”

The irony is that the Republicans secretly favour the US defaulting on its debt.
Why? Because the default will happen on Obama’s watch and not theirs. Also, it’ll force US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner to cut spending whether he likes it or not.

Last but not least, it’ll provide a clear passageway for a GOP victory in next year’s election.
These are the rumours that are circulating from Wall Street to the Shanghai Stock Exchange, and they have substance.

With the Eurozone in economic paralysis and the debt ceiling talks in Washington stalling, it might pay to avoid risks.

The big old creaky wagon we call the global economy has until August before it buckles under its load of debt and the wheels come off.

Is the earth tilting on its axis?

I came across an interesting video by NancyRedStar the other day about the Inuit people claiming to have witnessed numerous changes up in the northern part of our planet. This indigenous culture has been using the sun, stars and wind patterns for over one thousand years to find their way home and is very aware of the environment that surrounds them.

Amongst some of the changes; it would appear that the sun no longer sets where it used to.

Could this be the result of the planet tilting on its axis, or is it related to climate change?

286 Million Year Old Block Wall?

Back in 1928, coal miner Almon Mathis was going about his daily business working two miles deep in shaft number 5 of the Heavener Coal Mine when he made a strange discovery.

Here is his account: “They pumped air down to us, it was so deep. After blasting the miners came across what appeared to be some concrete blocks. These blocks were 12-inch cubes and were so smooth and polished on the outside that all six sides could serve as mirrors. Yet they were full of gravel, because I chipped one of them with my pick, and it was plain concrete inside.

As I started to timber the room up, Mathis continued, it caved in; and I barely escaped. When I came back after the cave-in, a solid wall of these polished blocks was left exposed. About 100 to 150 yards farther down our air core, another miner struck this same wall, or one very similar.”
Shortly after the incident, the miners were moved to the Wilburton mine and told to never speak of this again. They spoke to other miners there who had also claimed to have found similar blocks, though shaped like a barrel and with strange prints on them.

The coal in the mine was carboniferous which, according to standard dating methods, would make the wall at least 286 million years old.

The Heavener region of Oklahama has yet another mystery. The recently closed Heavener Runestone State Park has a strange stone carving believed to be of Viking decent and could possibly date back to 1,300AD. Another less popular theory claims that it was created by French explorer René-Robert Cavelier, Sieur de La Salle’s expedition in the 17th century. It was discovered in the early 1900’s and was originally thought to have been carved by the local Choctaw native tribe.
