CARET- Fact or Fiction?

First off I would like to mention that there is a mind-boggling amount of websites and online information pertaining to CARET, and it would take a huge amount of time to retrieve all of it for this story, so I kept it simple.

An electrical engineer who prefers to remain anonymous came forward many years ago with elaborate details about a project by the name ‘
CARET’ which he was involved with in the 1980s. On this intelligent and much detailed website, this gentleman by the alias ‘Isaac’ goes on to mention facts about alien reverse engineering and being involved in building certain parts of a cloaked ship that would one day be used by the military (all the while saying he does not want to profit from it).

He goes on to include a tremendous amount of stolen scientific details about classified military information that somehow appears to make sense.

Here are some of his claims:

- CARET stood for “Commercial Applications Research for Extra-Terrestrial Technology”, but we often joked that it should have stood for “Civilians Are Rarely Ever Trusted.”

- We had everything we needed. State of the art hardware and a staff of over 200 computer scientists, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, physicists and mathematicians.

- What was especially amusing about the whole affair was the way that our military management almost tried to act as if the technology we were essentially reverse engineering wasn't extra-terrestrial at all.

- Their technology is different. It really did operate like the magical piece of paper sitting on a table, in a manner of speaking. They had something akin to a language that could quite literally execute itself at least in the presence of a very specific type of field.

These flying drones have allegedly been seen in various parts of the US after accidently being uncloaked.

One website’s attempt at debunking this information as a hoax goes on to mention:

“Looking at the so-called 'documentation' that goes with this stuff, the text-formatting is obviously done with relatively recent vintage page-layout software. You can tell by the perfect nature of the block justification.”

Other websites mention the disappearance of Isaac or that the CARET photos were fabricated by a Belgium hoaxer.

Whether or not Isaac was telling the truth is certainly up for debate. One thing I find odd is the fact that he goes to great lengths to hide his identity, yet divulges large amounts of information that would make him easily traceable by the government. Or that his website has never been shut down. One thing is for sure, many people have spent a lot of time and energy trying to prove or disprove CARET. Who is to say that some of the nay-saying websites out there such as
dronehoax.com are not NASA or US military based?

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, however, this makes for interesting reading either way …

How to Kibosh 2012

I started this blog as a hobby roughly around 6 months ago with the intent of sharing cool stuff about UFOs and anything else I could find on the net that you don’t usually see on the six o’clock news. As I researched more and more blogs and websites, such as ATS, I started noticing that paranoia is contagious and many of them harbour a lot of doom and gloom and significant amounts of hoaxes.
My question here is why so many people out there are wasting their lives working on these elaborate hoaxes? Should they not be looking for solutions to solving serious issues such as poverty, crime or global warming?
I am trying to understand the fact that some people are concerned about the Mayan prophecy about December 21, 2012, but unless you believe in the improbable concept of time travel, how can anyone predict the future? I also fail to understand why some people have the need to turn historical documents into Armageddon, whether it is the Bible, or Nostradamus, or an ancient Mayan tablet. If doomsday occurred at the ‘end date’ of every calendar, the world would have ended two thousand and eleven times by now according to the Gregorian calendar.
I for one do not look at the world through rose coloured glasses and am indeed aware of the fact that we need an urgent change in order to heal this planet. So let’s stop wasting our energy on Nibiru or planet X or whatever the flavour of the day is, and start focussing on serious issues.
Oh and I’m not negating any future stories of Chupacabra drama or alien invasions, or whatever else I find. I am just a middle man with a story and a hopeful growing audience in progress.
Have a wonderful positive, tornado, earthquake, tsunami, volcano, flash flood, biological hazard, hailstorm, epidemic free day.
And while you’re at it, watch out for evil aliens…

Who is 'Anonymous'?

Anonymous is an anarchistic virtual community started around 2003. Though it was originally meant as entertainment, it had grown into a form of international hacktivism five years later, after a series of controversial, widely-publicized protests and hacking attacks on public domains.

Some of their biggest hacks include the Westboro Baptist Church, The Koch brothers, WikiLeaks' foes, and its recent campaign target has become the Church of Scientology due to hundreds of illegal actions, fraudulent activities, and human rights violations.

Anonymous protestors cover their faces with Guy Fawkes masks popularized by the comic book and film V for Vendetta in order to protect their identities and to preserve anonymity and to ensure their safety.

Though I agree with the idea of peaceful and legal protests against corporate greed and corruption, I fail to understand the call to action I read about in a story this morning while surfing my favorite conspiracy website by someone claiming to be part of ‘Anonymous’ requesting that everyone call in to local authorities on May 22nd (the day after the rapture according to 89 year old clergy Harold Camping) to report and thereby create the largest UFO hoax ever.

Who was John Titor?

The story of John Titor’s first appeared on the web around the year 2000. He was reported to be a time traveller from the year 2036. Amongst some of his predictions of the near future was a false civil war in the US in 2004 and nuclear war in 2015.

This mysterious man even went as far as to describe his apparent time machine in details and even got a US patent for it.
(Patent Application US20060073976)

It has been pointed out that Titor’s story is uncannily similar to Pat Frank's classic post-apocalyptic science fiction novel Alas, Babylon and was debunked as a hoax by an Italian TV show after running an extensive investigation. They concluded that John Titor was in fact the computer expert brother of a man by the name of Larry Haber, an advocate and owner of the commercial rights about all concerns involving John Titor.

Giant Atlantic Whirlpool hoax?

US Scientists have apparently discovered 2 massive whirlpools in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Guyana. These events are said to be around 400 kilometres (250 miles) in diameter according to Brazilian scientist Guilherme Castellane. There has never been such an event recorded in that part of the ocean ever before. Rotation is said to occur at a rate of one metre per second. The natural phenomenon, which creates the whirlpools, is not completely known to modern science.

I am highly sceptical regarding this occurrence for numerous reasons, first off I could not find any proof of a Brazilian scientist by that name or any factual scientific documents, and the article first came out of a news agency from Russia that might be the equivalence of ‘The National Enquirer’.

It is not without saying that there has been proof of other recent ocean mega plumes in other parts of the world including the Indian Ocean as well as the recent one near Japan.

"I'd be surprised if in the next five years we didn't experience a mini-revolution in terms of finding these in places where they are not supposed to exist." said geophysicist Robert Reves-Sohn of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.

Could megaplumes be caused by magma deep on the ocean floor or possibly global warming and the resulting difference in water salinity?
